- What is Retirement Estates?
Retirement Estates is an active adult community of double and triple wide manufactured homes.
- What is a Land Leased Community?
Land Lease means that, while you own your home, we own the land. We lease that land to you for a monthly fee.
- What is included in that monthly fee?
Your monthly fee covers the lease of your lot, weekly trash pickup, seasonal yard debris pickup, your sewer tax, road maintenance and snow removal on roadways, unlimited free use of the community center, and and a full time staff.
- What are the advantages to living in Retirement Estates?
•Retirement Estates is a small, safe, friendly community.
•You can feel secure leaving your home if you choose to travel.
•Our full time staff is here should a problem arise, or if you have any questions.
•We plow the roads in the winter.
•We clear your drive if there is more than 3” of snow (for a nominal fee).
•We offer a mowing service for a small fee.
•You have free use of our beautiful community clubhouse. Plan your next family event here, or plan a game of Bunco with your new neighbors. Whatever you choose- it`s here for your use.
•There are monthly activities hosted by your neighbors for you to attend, or volunteer for if you chose.
•Activites include exercise groups, pot luck dinners, community breakfasts, a monthly Bingo game, Office of Aging luncheon, and more.
•We have a small lending library of books and DVD's for your use.
•We have a large assortment of puzzles for lend/swap.
•There are sevearal different exercise groups that meet weekly
•There is a baby grand piano for your use if you play
•The traffic is light and the speed limit slow if you enjoy walking.
